Alcohol Free

Can you get drunk from drinking non alcoholic beer? +-

You cannot get drunk by drinking Lucky Saint. Lucky Saint is 0.5% abv - this is classified as 'alcohol free' in Europe (and therefore in Germany, where we're made) and 'de-alcoholised' in the UK. Many things we consume daily contain higher trace amounts of alcohol than Lucky Saint, for example an over-ripe banana, fresh orange juice or a piece of rye bread.

Can you drink Lucky Saint and drive? +-

As your blood alcohol content cannot be raised with a 0.5% alcohol content, it is therefore safe to drive and drink Lucky Saint.

Can you drink Lucky Saint whilst pregnant? +-

Under European guidelines, 0.5% is classed as alcohol-free and there's a similar amount of alcohol in everyday items like bananas or even rye bread. However, if you have any concerns we would always advise chatting to your doctor first before consuming non-alcoholic beer when pregnant.

Has Lucky Saint won any awards in the alcohol free beer category? +-

We're super excited that Lucky Saint has been awarded the best non-alcoholic lager at the 2020 Imbibe UK Taste Awards, the leading UK drinks industry publication with one of the judge's saying Lucky Saint 'sets a high benchmark for the rest'. In our opinion Lucky Saint is the best tasting non-alcoholic beer out there, but I guess we're biased.

Superior Unfiltered Lager

What does unfiltered mean? +-

Unfiltered means that the beer doesn't go through the filtration process commonly used in brewing to remove tiny sediment particles in the beer. Why so? Because that filtration process robs the beer of precious flavour and character. Lucky Saint's long maturation process of four weeks allows the sediment to drop out of the beer naturally, meaning it can remain unfiltered, retaining as much flavour and body as possible.

Where is Lucky Saint Lager brewed? +-

Lucky Saint lager is a bavarian brewed Pilsner-style beer using high quality locally sourced ingredients including Bavarian Spring Water and Hallertau Hops. We follow German Purity laws when brewing our lager.

How is Lucky Saint Lager brewed? +-

Lucky Saint is brewed the same way as a full-strength beer. It is fermented and conditioned for 6 weeks before we use a unique vacuum distillation process to remove the alcohol.

Where can I find Lucky Saint on draught? +-

At Lucky Saint we believe the greatest reward of drinking is the social connection, not the alcohol - the pinnacle being a cold pint enjoyed with friends.

Lucky Saint Hazy IPA

Tell Me More About Lucky Saint Superior Hazy IPA? +-

Heritage brewing meets new world hops in Lucky Saint’s Superior Hazy IPA. Juicy and hazy with notes of tropical and stone fruits, Lucky Saint’s brand-new IPA is brewed with Pale Malts and New World Hops to create a balanced beer.

What Makes The Beer Hazy? +-

The beer has a hazy quality due to being left unfiltered. The dry hopping at the end of the brewing process also adds to the haziness, as the oils and resins from the hops which add flavour and aromatics can be seen in the finished beer.

How is Lucky Saint Hazy IPA brewed? +-

Our team has worked for two years to create a category-defining alcohol-free IPA. Brewed with pilsner malt like our lager, with the addition of oats and wheat to provide extra body. Hopped and dry hopped with Citra and Mosaic. Left unfiltered for flavour.

Where is Lucky Saint Hazy IPA brewed? +-

We’re proud to say that our IPA is brewed in the UK, making it our most sustainable product to date.

Can I get Lucky Saint Hazy IPA in bottle or on draught? +-

Our IPA is currently only in cans, but we are looking at making bottles available soon. Our IPA isn't currently on draught, but you can discover our Superior Unfiltered Lager on draught in hundreds of pubs across the UK. Find your nearest HERE.

Lifestyle & Nutrition

How many calories does a bottle of Lucky Saint contain? +-

Lucky Saint is a healthier alternative to full strength beer as each 330ml serving contains just 53 calories for lager, and 59 calories for IPA. That's around ⅓ of the calories found in a full strength beer. With Lucky Saint you can enjoy all the taste of a full strength beer, without the calories or the hangover.

Is Lucky Saint Vegan? +-

Lucky Saint is completely vegan friendly - our beer is left unfiltered meaning there is no filtration process using animal products, and we use just four simple, vegan ingredients. Our focus on quality ingredients and our unique brewing process means a great taste and mouthfeel - we don't use lactose or other additives.

Is Lucky Saint Gluten Free? +-

No, Lucky Saint isn't a gluten free beer - this is due to the Pilsner Malt used in our recipe.
